Robbie Gras 1999

Your future ruler turns 29.

As part of my ongoing quest to take over the world, I am trying to make my birthday a national holiday (pursuant to plan #49A) through this all humanity will recognize me as one who should be worshipped, and a leader with a human side. Although it originally began as a joke, the holiday of Robbie Gras has since taken on an identity and a life all its own. Robbie Gras is a weeklong celebration beginning February 5th, and kicks off the Mardi Gras season. The celebration includes a Robbie Gras parade, a Robbie Gras ball, a Robbie Gras toast, and a Robbie Gras feast. If you would like to have your own Robbie Gras Ball, just gather together some friends on or around Feb. 5, appoint an official Beer wench and a sacrificial virgin (to be sacrificed at midnight if their virginity is not lost) and party on!

This year the Robbie Gras ball was held in the room of one Stacey Branson (also our official Beer wench of the evening) Our master of ceremonies this year was Mr. Andy Kehrer, who did a bang up job, making Robbie Gras 1999 one of the best ever. Our photographer was my good friend, Donald Broussard.
