Life at UNO
(the University Of New Orleans... Not The card game)

UNO was a fun place to be. I was a Communications major, which means I got to play with really cool toys like 3Dmax and all variety of video recording and production equipment. I used to live and work in Bienville Hall Which, despite reports to the contrary, is an exceedingly cool place to live. Right now, school is on hold for me, and I work at the Group Sales Department of New Orleans Steamboat Company. I also work part time in the Tourist information Booths in the French Quarter. It's pretty cool.

(Then again, anywhere in New Orleans can be a really cool place to live and work. If you are wondering why, just go to Yahoo and look up anything about Mardi Gras.)

The reason I enjoyed living on campus though, is primarily because of the people. Even a "commuter school" like UNO has a college life when you have friends. Living in Bienville hall was a great way to get close to 500 or so people, and I wouldn't trade my time here for anything in the world.

Occasionally, my friends and I drive all the way to Boloxi, MS. for some Krispy Kreme Donuts. (Before they built a location in New Orleans- thank god for progress.) If you've ever had one fresh off the machine (pictured right) you understand why. Recently, Playboy magazine rated Krispy Kreme the "best late night calorie fest" I heartily agree.

I think the best way to get the most out of UNO is to join an organization, so I am a card carrying alumni of the Science Fiction and Fantasy Club. We have a lot of fun together doing movie nights, playing laser tag, and generally anything that sounds like it would be fun.

My best friend Jeff and I spent most of our summer trying to find things to amuse ourselves here in the city that care forgot. Usually this involves exposing the horrible side of human nature or torturing small animals (a joke. it's been a very long time since I last tied a can to a cat's tail.) but a few summers ago, we came up with something we called the Kahunahhunt. Entertaining, and yet frustrating I highly recommend it, and will probaly institute them as a worldwide sport when I finally rule on high over all. You might want to learn a little about it now.

My photo album (friends that I admit to...)

This picture was taken outside of Drew's apartment. From the right are Lauren, Jeff, Me (note the Andrew Dice Clay cigarette drag), and the dorky one on the far left is Dave.

This is my close Friend and co-worker, Donald. I think the picture says it all.

Dave and Danielle from the same party. Apparently Dave is driving an imaginary car.

Now that I'm done being all sappy...
